About the Role

As a Project Director with Altrad Services Canada, you will play a crucial role in ensuring the successful completion of projects within the Oil and Gas, Energy, and Construction sectors. Your expertise will be instrumental in providing guidance and support to the project controls team, ensuring that all aspects of the project are completed on time, on budget, and with the highest quality.

Key Responsibilities
  • Provide leadership and guidance to the project controls team, including Planners/Schedulers, Estimators, Workface Planners, and Project Controls Administrators.
  • Develop and maintain effective project control systems, including workface planning, planning and scheduling, and management of construction automation tools.
  • Oversee the workface planning process, including scope management, breakdown of CWPs into IWPs, development of IWPs, release process, progress measurement, and close-out.
  • Manage the Project Controls team and ensure performance is in line with relevant Altrad documents and Procedures.
  • Collaborate with the construction and management teams to ensure that all activities are completed in accordance with contractual commitments.
Requirements
  • Sound knowledge of the Oil and Gas industry, particularly within a Project environment.
  • Ability to prioritize workload utilizing effective time management skills.
  • Proficient in the use of MS Office Suite.
  • Experience with FIFO (fly in/fly out) site projects.
