Audit Director

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced professional to join our team as an Associate Director, Asset Management. As a key member of our team, you will be responsible for conducting inspections of audit firms, maintaining control of assigned inspection work, and fostering professional relationships with colleagues and external stakeholders.
Key Responsibilities:- Conduct inspections of audit firms, including discussions with engagement teams and firm leadership.
- Maintain control of assigned inspection work, meeting deadlines and conducting inspections efficiently.
- Foster professional relationships with colleagues, firms, and external stakeholders.
- Prepare high-quality written reports.
- Participate in inspection projects aimed at enhancing inspection processes.
- Support stakeholder engagement and thought leadership initiatives.
- Minimum 7 years progressive public company accounting and audit experience at a Big Four or national accounting firm.
- CPA designation required.
- In-depth knowledge of IFRS and Canadian Auditing Standards; US GAAP an asset.
- Strong communication skills, written and verbal.
- Ability to work independently and as a team member.
- Ability to travel, approximately 6 weeks per year.
