Job Summary

Villa de Montfort is seeking a skilled Medical Caregiver to join our team. As a Medical Caregiver, you will provide high-quality patient care and support in a nursing home/home for the aged setting.

Key Responsibilities
  • Accompany patients on outdoor recreational activities and perform other duties related to patient care and comfort.
  • Take patients' blood pressure, temperature, and pulse, and administer first aid in emergency situations.
  • Deliver messages, reports, requisitions, and specimens between departments, and make beds and maintain patients' rooms.
  • Bathe, dress, and groom patients, and answer call signals to determine patients' needs.
Requirements
  • College/CEGEP diploma or equivalent.
  • Health Care Aide Certificate and Moving Patients Safety Principles (MPSP) training.
  • Criminal record check, vulnerable sector check, and Adult Abuse Registry check.
  • Excellent oral communication, client focus, and dependability.
