Job Summary

We are seeking a compassionate and detail-oriented Medical Caregiver to join our team at Chartwell Villa Saguenay résidence pour retraités. As a Medical Caregiver, you will play a vital role in providing high-quality care to our residents, ensuring their physical, emotional, and social needs are met.

Responsibilities
  • Provide personal care to residents, including bathing, dressing, and grooming
  • Assist residents with daily activities, such as eating, walking, and using the bathroom
  • Administer medications and treatments as prescribed by healthcare professionals
  • Monitor residents' health and report any changes or concerns to healthcare staff
  • Maintain a safe and clean environment for residents, including their living spaces and common areas
  • Develop and maintain relationships with residents, their families, and other healthcare professionals
Requirements
  • College diploma or equivalent in a related field
  • 1-2 years of experience in a healthcare setting
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
  • Ability to lift, push, and pull heavy objects
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced environment
