Food Service Supervisor

We are seeking a highly skilled Food Service Supervisor to join our team at Home Restaurant - Merritt. As a key member of our culinary team, you will be responsible for ensuring the highest quality of food and service to our customers.
Key Responsibilities- Establish and implement efficient food preparation and service methods to meet work schedules.
- Supervise and coordinate the activities of food service staff, providing guidance and training as needed.
- Develop and maintain a clean and safe working environment, adhering to health and safety standards.
- Estimate and manage food and supply inventory, ensuring optimal levels for meal preparation.
- Recruit, train, and develop food service staff, promoting a positive and productive work environment.
- Monitor and maintain quality control standards, addressing customer complaints and concerns in a professional manner.
- Prepare and submit reports on food sales, inventory, and staff performance.
- Secondary (high) school graduation certificate or equivalent experience.
- 1 year to less than 2 years of experience in a food service supervisory role.
- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment, prioritizing tasks and managing multiple responsibilities.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to work effectively with staff and customers.
- Knowledge of food safety and sanitation procedures, with the ability to maintain a clean and safe working environment.
