Financial Analyst Role Overview

Minto Group is seeking a skilled Financial Analyst to support our Operations team in designing, building, and executing performance and financial analysis for our residential and commercial managed assets.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Annual budgeting and monthly forecasting cycles
  • Timely and accurate production of financial reports and variance analysis
  • Designing, developing, and implementing analytical models and tools to evaluate, forecast, and optimize property and portfolio performance
  • Reporting on business metrics, including KPI dashboards
  • Interface with senior management to understand their reporting and analysis needs
  • Continuously seeking opportunities to improve existing processes and models
  • Ensuring senior management has accurate and insightful analysis to inform strategic decisions

Requirements:

  • Bachelor of Commerce with a related accounting discipline and accounting designation (CA, CMA, or CGA) is an asset
  • Minimum of three to five years of relevant work experience in accounting/finance
  • Solid knowledge of accounting and financial reporting, preferably in a real estate environment
  • Experience presenting to senior executives
  • Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, and PowerPoint), Outlook, and intermediate/advanced Excel skills
