Financial Analyst Job Description

Lumentum Operations LLC is seeking a highly skilled Financial Analyst to join our team in Ottawa. As a Financial Analyst, you will play a critical role in supporting our business units by providing financial insights and analysis.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Develop and maintain financial models and forecasts to support business decision-making.
  • Prepare and analyze financial reports, including balance sheets, income statements, and cash flow statements.
  • Identify and analyze trends and variances in financial data to inform business strategies.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to drive business growth and improve financial performance.
  • Manage and maintain financial systems and processes to ensure accuracy and efficiency.

Requirements:

  • 5+ years of experience in financial analysis and planning.
  • Bachelor's degree in Commerce or related field, along with an Accounting designation (CPA).
  • Excellent analytical, organizational, and communication skills.
  • Ability to work independently and interact effectively with all levels of management.
  • Passionate and excited to work in a fast-paced, ever-changing environment.
