Sustainability Engineering Expert

We are seeking a skilled Environmental and Sustainability Engineer to join our team in one of our locations in Sault Ste. Marie, Sudbury, Huntsville or North Bay.
About the RoleThe successful candidate will provide leadership, training, and operational support to junior and intermediate staff in the areas of environmental site assessment, remediation, and/or risk assessment, as applicable, within the framework of Ontario Regulation 153/04.
You will also serve as a resource in your field of expertise, analyze and prepare documentation, presentations, and review reports for internal and external stakeholders, engage with other senior members within the firm to advance our brand and standing with clients.

Key Responsibilities- Provide leadership, training, and operational support to junior and intermediate staff in the areas of environmental site assessment, remediation, and/or risk assessment, as applicable.
- Serve as a resource in your field of expertise, including analyzing and preparing documentation, presentations, and review reports for internal and external stakeholders.
- Engage with other senior members within the firm to advance our brand and standing with clients.
To be successful in this role, you will need:
- A university degree in Civil/Environmental Engineering.
- Licensed Professional Engineer (P.Eng.) or Professional Geoscientist (P.Geo.) in Ontario, with licensing in other provinces within Canada considered an asset.
- Over 6 years of consulting experience in the environmental field in Ontario.
- Extensive experience in contaminated site investigations (Phase I and II ESAs) and Records of Site Condition (Phase One, Phase Two, and Remediation).
- Experience in Excess Soils Management (Ontario Regulation 406/19), soil and groundwater remediation, and preparation of Risk Management Plans is preferred.
- Solid written and verbal communication skills, organizational skills, strong work ethic, problem-solving and decision-making skills, self-initiative, and eagerness to learn.
As an employee of TULLOCH, you can expect a competitive salary of $90,000 - $120,000 per year, depending on experience, plus benefits and opportunities for growth and development.
