About the Role

The Systems Deployment Specialist is a key player in the execution of installation, upgrade, enhancement, relocation, and migration work of Logibec systems at customer sites. This role ensures that work is optimized for the latest commercial version available and constantly monitors the optimal use of the company's solutions by customers.

Key Responsibilities

  • Perform installation, upgrade, enhancement, relocation, and migration of products and their components according to the specific environment of each client, using procedures and tools set up for this purpose.
  • Support customers in problem-solving by analyzing the cause, implementing a solution, and ensuring that customer needs are met.
  • Intervene in the processing of customer requests via the appropriate tool.
  • Communicate directly with customers during the execution of work and remain the central point for the follow-up of remaining problems.
  • Respond to requests for information and questions related to operating software and equipment by providing internal level 2 support.
  • Advise customers on the latest products, the operation of their system, and during the implementation phase of new equipment and software.
  • Produce and maintain documentation related to the team's procedures and processes.
  • Perform customer inventory updates in the appropriate tool to ensure data integrity.

Qualifications

  • Minimum of a DEC in computer science or related field, and relevant experience.
  • 1-3 years of relevant work experience.
  • Good knowledge of Solaris, Unix, Linux, and Windows environments.
  • Knowledge of Oracle and MS-SQL databases.
  • Good analytical skills, resourcefulness, and understanding of job log files.
  • Demonstrated leadership and a predisposition for good collaboration and information exchange between colleagues.
  • Curiosity, proactivity, and strong problem-solving skills.
  • Good organizational skills and rigor in the preparation and execution of various tasks.
  • A very good ability to listen and excellent customer service skills.
  • Ability to adapt in a constantly evolving sector and good tolerance of stress.
  • Excellent oral and written communication skills in French, English would be an asset.
  • Available to work regular atypical hours.
