About the Opportunity

Hill's Pet Nutrition is seeking a seasoned sales professional to join our team as a Territory Manager in Edmonton, Alberta. As a key member of our sales team, you will play a vital role in driving sales growth, expanding our presence in the Canadian market, and promoting our high-quality pet food products. This is an exciting opportunity to join a leading global consumer goods company and contribute to our mission of enriching and lengthening the special relationships between people and their pets.

Your primary responsibility will be to manage a customer base of veterinary clinics and specialty pet retail stores, developing and executing strategic plans to increase net sales, drive volume, and improve market share. You will work closely with customers to understand their needs and preferences, identifying opportunities to upsell and cross-sell Hill's products. Your expertise in sales and marketing will enable you to analyze data, identify trends, and inform your decision-making, ensuring that you stay ahead of the competition and maximize revenue opportunities.

To succeed in this role, you will need to possess excellent communication and interpersonal skills, a strong understanding of business principles, and the ability to analyze data and identify trends. A Bachelor's Degree and valid driver's license are required, as well as experience in sales or veterinary hospital settings. Preferred qualifications include a Doctorate of Veterinary Medicine (DVM) or equivalent experience in animal health.
