Power Generation Specialist

Job Summary

This position is responsible for registering with Paper Excellence Skookumchuck and submitting a cover letter, resume, and transcript for consideration as a 3rd or 4th class Power Engineer in our pulp mill.

Key Responsibilities

  • Perform physically demanding laboring work in our power and recovery department
  • Work a shift rotation, including days and nights
  • Operate mobile equipment for extended periods
  • Be on your feet for extended periods
  • Work in hot and noisy conditions
  • Have good visual perception
  • Be computer literate

Requirements

  • A copy of your power engineering transcripts
  • A valid Canadian driver's license
  • A demonstrated capacity to learn
  • A history of safe work performance
