We are seeking a detail-oriented Bookkeeper to join our team at Ontario Inc. as a permanent employee.
Job SummaryThe successful candidate will be responsible for maintaining accurate financial records, preparing cheques for payroll, and reconciling accounts. If you have a strong background in bookkeeping and are proficient in MS Excel and MS Word, we encourage you to apply.
Key Responsibilities- Calculate and prepare cheques for payroll
- Calculate fixed assets and depreciation
- Keep financial records and establish, maintain and balance various accounts using manual and computerized bookkeeping systems
- Maintain general ledgers and financial statements
- Post journal entries
- Prepare other statistical, financial and accounting reports
- Prepare tax returns
- Prepare trial balance of books
- Reconcile accounts
- Secondary (high) school graduation certificate
- 1 year to less than 2 years of experience
- Willing to relocate
