We are a leading optical laboratory dedicated to delivering high-quality eyewear solutions. As an Optical Laboratory Assistant, you will play a critical role in our team, supporting the preparation and maintenance of prescription lenses.

Job Description

The successful candidate will be responsible for maintaining accurate records, cleaning and maintaining equipment, and performing general clerical duties. Additionally, they will prepare and maintain cleanliness of collection areas, process files and paperwork, schedule and confirm appointments, order supplies and equipment, organize and maintain inventory, make minor adjustments and repairs, and arrange for grinding or polishing of lenses or grind and polish lenses.

Key Responsibilities
  • Maintain accurate prescription records
  • Clean and maintain equipment to ensure optimal performance
  • Perform general clerical duties as required
  • Prepare and maintain cleanliness of collection areas
  • Process files and paperwork efficiently
  • Schedule and confirm appointments with clients
  • Order necessary supplies and equipment
  • Organize and maintain inventory levels
  • Make minor adjustments and repairs as needed
  • Arrange for grinding or polishing of lenses or grind and polish lenses
Requirements
  • Secondary (high) school graduation certificate
  • Will train on job-specific skills
