Job Title: General Manager

About the Role:

The General Manager is a key leadership position responsible for driving sales, productivity, and profitability in two retail store locations. This role requires a strong leader who can effectively manage all aspects of the stores, including customer engagement, operational execution, people management, and merchandising presentation.

Key Responsibilities:
  • People Management: Lead and develop a diverse workforce, ensuring adherence to Company policies and procedures. Foster a positive work environment and recognize performance to increase employee engagement.
  • Customer Focus: Maintain a genuine customer focus on the sales floor, leading and directing the Leader on Duty program. Consistently model brand service standards and coach others to ensure consistent execution.
  • Merchandising and Operational Execution: Set strategic direction on merchandise and operational execution, ensuring brand standards are met. Reduce loss through customer service, education, and operational controls.
  • Business Management: Analyze key performance indicators and identify behaviors to drive results. Lead store teams to generate sales and exceed Company-provided goals.
Requirements:
  • High school degree or GED minimum requirement, Bachelor's degree strongly preferred
  • Minimum of 5 years of retail management experience
  • Previous experience leading direct reports
  • Experience in managing multiple stores and high unit output
  • Demonstrated leadership and supervisory skills
Physical Demands:
  • Ability to lift 40 pounds as needed
  • Ability to stand or walk for long periods of time; climb up and down a ladder
  • Frequent bending, stooping, reaching, pushing, and pulling
Availability Requirements:
  • Availability to meet the needs of the business, including days, nights, weekends, and holidays as scheduled
