Job Summary

Puglisevich Crews and Services Limited is seeking a highly skilled Drilling Operations Assistant to join our team. As a key member of our drilling crew, you will be responsible for ensuring the safe and efficient operation of our drilling rigs.

Key Responsibilities
  • Drilling Operations: Assist in the setup and operation of drilling rigs, including the completion or servicing of oil and gas exploration and producing wells.
  • Safety Procedures: Ensure that all safety protocols are followed to prevent accidents and injuries.
  • Record Keeping: Maintain accurate records of drilling and servicing operations, including equipment maintenance and crew training.
  • Machinery Operation: Operate the controls of drill or service rig drilling and hoisting machinery.
  • Crew Training: Train or arrange for the training of crew members to ensure they have the necessary skills to perform their duties.
Work Environment

This is a temporary position working on an offshore drilling rig. The work environment is fast-paced and requires strong communication and teamwork skills.

Requirements
  • Education: College, CEGEP, or other non-university certificate or diploma from a program of 3 months to less than 1 year.
