Job Summary

We are seeking an experienced AWS Cloud Engineer to join our team. As a key member of our engineering team, you will be responsible for designing, building, and maintaining scalable and reliable cloud-based systems. If you have a passion for building systems that scale, a strong background in AWS, and excellent problem-solving skills, we encourage you to apply.

Key Responsibilities
  • Design and implement scalable and reliable cloud-based systems using AWS services such as SQS, Lambda, ECS, Kinesis, IAM, Secrets Manager, RDS, and DMS.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to identify and prioritize system requirements and implement solutions that meet business needs.
  • Develop and maintain high-quality code, following best practices and ensuring adherence to coding standards.
  • Participate in agile methodologies, specifically Scrum, to ensure efficient and effective project delivery.
  • Stay up-to-date with the latest AWS services and technologies, and apply this knowledge to improve system design and implementation.
Requirements
  • Proven experience with AWS services, including SQS, Lambda, ECS, Kinesis, IAM, Secrets Manager, RDS, and DMS.
  • Strong background in cloud computing, with a focus on scalability, reliability, and security.
  • Excellent problem-solving skills, with the ability to analyze complex system issues and develop effective solutions.
  • Strong communication and collaboration skills, with the ability to work effectively with cross-functional teams.
  • Experience with agile methodologies, specifically Scrum, and a willingness to adapt to changing project requirements.
Preferred Qualifications
  • Experience with Docker, Terraform, Datadog, CircleCI, and Github.
  • Knowledge of Snowflake, SQL, Java, Javascript, Wildfly, Jira, and PagerDuty.
