We are seeking a highly skilled Construction Manager to join our team at Tidal Coast Construction Limited.
Job SummaryThe successful candidate will be responsible for overseeing the planning, organization, and execution of construction projects from start to finish. This includes managing budgets, schedules, and resources, as well as ensuring compliance with safety regulations and quality standards.
Key Responsibilities- Plan and organize daily operations to ensure projects are completed on time and within budget.
- Prepare and submit construction project budget estimates, including materials, labor, and equipment costs.
- Recruit, hire, and supervise staff and/or volunteers to ensure effective project execution.
- Plan and prepare construction schedules and milestones, and monitor progress to ensure timely completion.
- Prepare contracts and negotiate revisions, changes, and additions to contractual agreements.
- Establish and implement policies and procedures for quality control, including regular inspections and testing.
- Operate CADD and other computer software systems to manage project data and documentation.
- Read and interpret blueprints, schemas, and drawings to ensure accurate project execution.
- Plan and manage budgets, including tracking expenses and identifying areas for cost savings.
- Direct the purchase of building materials and land acquisitions, ensuring compliance with company policies and regulations.
- Develop and implement quality control programs to ensure high-quality project outcomes.
- Oversee the analysis of data and information to inform project decisions and improve outcomes.
- Prepare reports and presentations to stakeholders, including project status updates and financial performance.
- 5+ years of experience in construction management or a related field.
- Strong knowledge of construction methods, materials, and regulations.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to work effectively with staff, clients, and stakeholders.
- Ability to work under pressure and meet tight deadlines, with a strong attention to detail and organizational skills.
- Proficiency in CADD and other computer software systems, including MS Office and MS Project.
