Dedicated Long Term Care Nurse

We are seeking a skilled and experienced Licensed Practical Nurse (LPN) to work in long term and acute care facilities in the Parksville area.
Key Responsibilities- Deliver high-quality nursing care to residents in accordance with established policies, physician's orders, and resident plans of care.
- Utilize sound nursing practice principles to ensure excellent patient care and satisfaction.
- Ensure timely and safe resident transfers and discharges.
- Maintain accurate records and reports.
- Active registration with the British Columbia College of Nurses and Midwives.
- Able to work with persons with infectious diseases.
- BLS Certificate.
- Valid First Aid & CPR.
- Proof of current immunizations for Measles, Mumps, Rubella, and Varicella (MMRV), proof of negative TB skin test within one (1) year as well as Hepatitis B.
- Current Vulnerable Sector Police Check.
- Ability to work independently or as part of a team.
- Well-developed interpersonal and communication skills.
This opportunity allows you to earn above-average wages with travel compensation and accommodation.
Shifts would be early morning, afternoon, evening, overnight with consistent hours and a set schedule until further notice.
Estimated Salary Range:$70,000 - $90,000 per annum.
