Position Description

We are seeking a Senior Software Engineer to join our Identity Threat Protection (ITP) engineering team. This is an opportunity to solve critical security problems and build high-quality enterprise software. The ideal candidate has experience building, launching, and supporting security products at scale.

Key Responsibilities

  • Design, develop, and deliver cloud-native security products, from concept to final implementation.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams, including engineering, product management, design, support, and documentation.
  • Commit to high programming standards by reviewing code and writing unit and functional tests.
  • Work with remote teams to ensure quality, agility, and velocity.
  • Participate in rotations to unblock customers and ensure their success.

Requirements

  • 3+ years of experience building Java-based web applications.
  • Good understanding of design patterns, scalability patterns, security engineering, and object-oriented principles.
  • Experience working in fast-paced software development teams, leveraging continuous integration and deployment practices.
  • Strong communication skills and ability to work across functions.
  • B.S. in CS or equivalent.

Desirable Skills

  • Experience building anomaly detection systems or risk systems.
  • Experience in cloud security, identity, and/or authentication protocols.
  • Experience with one or more UI technologies, such as Angular, ReactJS, Backbone, and Vue.
