Job Summary

We are seeking a highly skilled Physiotherapy Specialist to join our team at the Winnipeg Regional Health Authority. As a key member of our healthcare team, you will be responsible for providing high-quality physiotherapy services to our patients.

Key Responsibilities
  • Provide consultation, client assessment, and physiotherapy diagnosis to patients.
  • Develop and implement individualized treatment plans to promote optimal function and prevent disability.
  • Collaborate with other healthcare professionals to ensure comprehensive patient care.
  • Provide education and guidance to patients, families, and other healthcare providers.
  • Participate in clinical supervision and training of students and other healthcare professionals.
Requirements
  • Recent and relevant clinical experience in physiotherapy.
  • Entry-to-practice academic credential in physiotherapy from an accredited Canadian university program or the approved equivalent.
  • Registration on the Active Practice Register of the College of Physiotherapists of Manitoba.
  • Membership with the Canadian Physiotherapy Association is preferred.
  • Cardiopulmonary Resuscitation (CPR) training requirements.
Working Conditions
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced healthcare environment.
  • Ability to establish and maintain good interpersonal relationships with patients, families, and healthcare professionals.
  • Ability to work cooperatively with other disciplines and demonstrate professional judgment and initiative.
