Job Summary

We are seeking a highly skilled Physiotherapy Specialist to join our team at Winnipeg Regional Health Authority. As a key member of our healthcare team, you will provide quality physiotherapy services to our patients, including consultation, client assessment, and treatment planning.

Key Responsibilities
  • Provide physiotherapy services to patients, including consultation, client assessment, and treatment planning.
  • Develop and implement individualized treatment plans to meet the unique needs of each patient.
  • Collaborate with other healthcare professionals to ensure comprehensive care for patients.
  • Conduct client assessments to identify areas of need and develop treatment plans to address these needs.
  • Provide education and guidance to patients and their families on physiotherapy techniques and strategies.
Requirements
  • Registration on the Active Practice Register of the College of Physiotherapists of Manitoba.
  • Membership with the Canadian Physiotherapy Association preferred.
  • Cardiopulmonary Resuscitation (CPR) training requirements for this position shall be in accordance with the Employer policy.
  • Ability to establish and maintain good interpersonal relationships.
  • Effective written and verbal communication skills.
  • Ability to work cooperatively with other disciplines and demonstrate professional judgment and initiative.
Working Conditions

This position requires a current satisfactory Criminal Records Check (including Vulnerable Sector Search), Child Abuse Registry Check and Adult Abuse Registry Check as conditions of employment.
