About the Role

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Cloud Support Engineer II to join our team at HostedBizz Inc. As a key member of our support team, you will be responsible for providing timely and effective resolution of client issues related to cloud, server, and backup technologies.

Key Responsibilities
  • Provide Exceptional Customer Support: Respond to and resolve technical tickets related to cloud, server, and backup issues in a timely and professional manner.
  • Technical Expertise: Possess extensive knowledge of cloud technologies, including virtualization, networking, and storage.
  • Issue Resolution: Troubleshoot and diagnose complex issues involving multiple IT disciplines, including server operating system issues, backup and disaster recovery strategies, and virtualization technologies.
  • Communication and Documentation: Provide clear and concise communication to clients and internal teams, and maintain accurate documentation of technical issues and resolutions.
  • Process Improvement: Collaborate with the support team to identify areas for process improvement and implement changes to enhance the customer experience.
  • Mentorship and Training: Assist in mentoring and training junior engineers to ensure knowledge transfer and continuity.
Requirements
  • 3+ Years of Experience: In cloud technologies or business continuity as a technician, administrator, engineer, or helpdesk team member.
  • Extensive Knowledge: Of various IT disciplines, including virtualization, networking, and storage.
  • Hands-on Experience: Managing backup and disaster recovery strategies and solutions.
  • Professional Certifications: In cloud technologies, such as Veeam, Microsoft, or networking.
  • Excellent Communication: Skills, including documentation, problem-solving, and organizational skills.
