Food Service Team Lead

We are seeking a highly skilled Food Service Supervisor to join our team at 2773927 Ontario. As a key member of our dining services team, you will be responsible for overseeing the daily operations of our cafeteria, ensuring that food and service meet the highest quality standards.
Key Responsibilities- Leadership and Supervision: Supervise and co-ordinate the activities of staff who prepare and portion food, train staff in job duties, sanitation, and safety procedures, and ensure that food and service meet quality control standards.
- Operations Management: Establish methods to meet work schedules, requisition food and kitchen supplies, and prepare budget and cost estimates.
- Customer Service: Address customers' complaints or concerns and maintain records of stock, repairs, sales, and wastage.
- Team Collaboration: Work collaboratively with other team members to achieve common goals and objectives.
- Education: Secondary (high) school graduation certificate.
- Experience: 1 year to less than 2 years of experience in a similar role.
- Work Setting: Fast-paced environment with a combination of sitting, standing, and walking.
- Physical Capabilities: Standing for extended periods and attention to detail.
- Personal Suitability: Client focus, efficient interpersonal skills, excellent oral communication, flexibility, team player, initiative, and dependability.
- Work Term: Permanent position.
- Work Language: English.
- Hours: 30 to 40 hours per week.
