Job Summary

We are seeking an experienced Paramedic to join our team as a Paramedic Care Specialist in Saskatoon. This is a full-time regular position that offers a competitive salary and opportunities for professional growth.

About the Role

The successful candidate will provide high-quality patient care as a member of our Home First & Home Visit Program team. This role involves working with patients in their homes, providing medical care and support, and collaborating with healthcare professionals to ensure seamless patient transitions.

Responsibilities
  • Provide emergency medical care to patients in their homes
  • Conduct thorough patient assessments and develop individualized care plans
  • Collaborate with healthcare teams to coordinate patient care and referrals
  • Participate in quality improvement initiatives to enhance patient outcomes
Requirements

To be considered for this role, you must have:

  • A valid Advanced Care Paramedic Diploma (ACP) or equivalent qualification
  • Current certifications in International Trauma Life Support (ITLS), Basic Life Support Health Care Provider (BLS-HCP), Cardiopulmonary Resuscitation (CPR), and Advanced Cardiac Life Support (ACLS)
  • A valid Class 4 driver's license
  • Excellent communication and critical thinking skills
  • Knowledge of Primary Health principles and practices, as well as Infection Prevention and Control standards
