Job Title: Senior Oracle DBA

About the Role
  • We are seeking a highly skilled Senior Oracle DBA to join our team, responsible for planning, designing, building, testing, and supporting database systems.
  • As a Senior Oracle DBA, you will provide technical analysis and recommendations to ensure the optimal performance and security of our database systems.
  • You will work closely with our development teams to design and implement database solutions that meet the needs of our business.
  • With a strong focus on problem-solving, you will be responsible for identifying and resolving complex technical issues in a timely and efficient manner.
  • You will also be responsible for staying up-to-date with the latest Oracle technologies and best practices, and for sharing your knowledge with the team.
Requirements
  • 5+ years of hands-on technical working experience as an Oracle DBA in a medium to large production environment.
  • Experience with Oracle 12c to 19c migrations, Oracle Real Application Cluster (RAC) setup and configuration, Oracle Automatic Storage Management (ASM) setup and configuration, and Oracle Data Guard setup and configuration.
  • Strong knowledge of Oracle Enterprise Manager (OEM) and Red Hat Ansible Automation.
  • Excellent communication and problem-solving skills, with the ability to work effectively in a team environment.
  • Post-secondary education in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field.
