Job Summary

We are seeking a reliable and detail-oriented Floor Care Specialist to join our team at Strawberry Field Daycare. As a key member of our housekeeping team, you will be responsible for maintaining a clean and safe environment for our children and staff.

Responsibilities
  • Sweep, mop, wash, and polish floors to ensure a clean and hygienic environment
  • Dust furniture and fixtures to maintain a tidy appearance
  • Vacuum carpeting, area rugs, draperies, and upholstered furniture to remove dirt and debris
  • Distribute clean towels and toiletries to our children and staff
  • Clean, disinfect, and polish kitchen and bathroom fixtures and appliances to maintain a high level of hygiene
  • Disinfect operating rooms and other areas to prevent the spread of illness
  • Handle and report lost and found items to ensure a smooth operation
  • Pick up debris and empty trash containers to maintain a clean and organized environment
  • Wash windows, walls, and ceilings to maintain a clean and tidy appearance

  • Ability to lift and move heavy objects
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced environment
  • Ability to maintain confidentiality and handle sensitive information
