Job Summary

At Floor Concepts Ltd, we are seeking a skilled Flooring Specialist to join our team. As a Flooring Specialist, you will be responsible for installing and maintaining various types of flooring, including resilient floor coverings and hardwood floors.

Key Responsibilities

- Inspect and measure surfaces to be covered
- Measure, cut, and fasten underlay and underpadding
- Prepare flooring plans and scheduling
- Install resilient floor coverings and hardwood floors
- Inspect and repair damaged floor coverings
- Remove existing floor coverings and contaminants

Requirements

- Physically demanding work environment
- Ability to bend, crouch, and kneel
- Excellent hand-eye coordination
- Efficient interpersonal skills and judgment
- Organized and able to work independently

Work Environment

- On-site work only, no remote work options
- Work setting: urban area

Education and Experience

- Secondary (high) school graduation certificate
- 1 year to less than 2 years of experience in flooring installation
