Food Service Team Lead

We are seeking a highly motivated and experienced Food Service Supervisor to join our team at Mr Mikes Steakhouse. As a Food Service Supervisor, you will be responsible for ensuring the smooth operation of our food service department, including supervising and coordinating the activities of staff who prepare and portion food.
Key Responsibilities:- Establish and implement effective methods to meet work schedules and ensure timely food preparation and service.
- Supervise and train staff in job duties, sanitation, and safety procedures to maintain high-quality food and service standards.
- Monitor and maintain records of stock, repairs, sales, and wastage to optimize inventory management and minimize losses.
- Prepare and submit reports to management on a regular basis to ensure transparency and accountability.
- Collaborate with other departments to ensure seamless communication and coordination.
- 1-2 years of experience in a food service or hospitality environment.
- Excellent communication and leadership skills to motivate and guide staff.
- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and make decisions under pressure.
- Strong attention to detail and ability to maintain high-quality standards.
- Dependability and reliability to ensure consistent performance.
- Fast-paced environment with a focus on customer satisfaction.
- Combination of sitting, standing, and walking throughout the shift.
- Standing for extended periods may be required.
- English is the primary language of communication.
- 30-40 hours per week, with flexibility to work varying shifts.
