Job Title: Ontario Land Surveyor

Randstad Canada is proud to partner with a multidisciplinary engineering consulting firm in their search for a Licensed Ontario Land Surveyor to join their growing team.

About the Role

This permanent opportunity with a full-service engineering organization is focused on positive working relationships and a high caliber of professional service. The successful candidate will work closely with Surveyors, Engineers, and Technologists to deliver land survey and engineering projects.

Key Responsibilities
  • Manage projects including reference plans, subdivision plans, plans of condominium, surveyor's real property reports, and other related tasks.
  • Conduct surveys to establish, locate, define, or describe lines, boundaries, or corners of parcels of land.
  • Update boundary lines and prepare sites for construction.
  • Perform land registry office/title searching and oversee the preparation and review of various survey documents.
  • Contribute to mapmaking and provide written descriptions/technical reports on improvements.
Requirements
  • Licensed Ontario Land Surveyor in good standing with the Association of Ontario Land Surveyors.
  • Familiarity with a broad field of engineering and surveying.
  • Strong knowledge of surveying and engineering principles and design standards, with knowledge of Cadastral an asset.
  • Well-versed with AutoCAD and Civil3D, with experience working with drafting/graphic software.
  • Ability to provide written descriptions/technical reports on improvements.
