Job Responsibilities

  • Manage staff in the performance of their day-to-day responsibilities, providing guidance and support as needed.
  • Foster positive working relationships with and among reporting staff, promoting a culture of teamwork and collaboration.
  • Responsible for managing NOI and CAPEX budget in your portfolio, ensuring that financial goals are met and exceeded.
  • Ensure that your portfolio is operating safely and efficiently, with a focus on resident satisfaction and well-being.
  • Ensure that accurate, timely, and complete documentation is maintained, in accordance with company policies and procedures.
  • Analyze monthly financial statements, identifying areas for improvement and implementing changes as needed.
  • Be available Monday to Friday during the day, as well as on call for emergency situations, to ensure that our residents receive the support they need.
  • Other responsibilities as required, to ensure the smooth operation of our business.

Requirements

  • Bachelor Degree/Diploma from a recognized college or university is required, with a focus on business or a related field.
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills, with the ability to effectively communicate with residents, staff, and other stakeholders.
  • Excellent interpersonal skills, with the ability to build strong relationships with colleagues and residents.
  • Excellent computer and related technology skills, with proficiency in Microsoft Office and other software applications.
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced environment, with a focus on multitasking and prioritization.
  • Results-oriented, with a focus on achieving goals and exceeding expectations.
  • No experience is required, however, experience in a supervisory or management role is an asset.
  • Knowledge of Property Management procedures/law is an asset, with a focus on compliance and regulatory requirements.
  • Reliable vehicle and valid Ontario driver's license are required, for travel to and from work sites.

A satisfactory reference check and criminal records clearance are required for the position.
