Job Opportunity:
St. Joseph's Care Group is seeking a Registered Nurse to join our team as a Casual Float Nurse. This is a great opportunity for a nurse who is looking for a flexible schedule and the ability to work in various clinical settings.
Key Responsibilities:
- Provide high-quality patient care in a variety of clinical settings, including medical, surgical, and emergency departments.
- Work collaboratively with other healthcare professionals to ensure seamless patient care.
- Participate in ongoing education and training to stay up-to-date on the latest nursing practices and technologies.
- Contribute to a positive and supportive work environment that promotes patient-centered care.
Requirements:
- Current Certificate of Registration with the Ontario College of Nurses.
- Current CPR Certificate.
- Demonstrated ability to work within all clinical settings at the St. Joseph's Hospital site.
- Experience within neurolocomotor services considered an asset.
- Demonstrated regular attendance at work.
Condition of Employment:
- This position shall be conditional upon a satisfactory Police Vulnerable Sector Check (PVSC) where indicated, to ensure the absence of relevant criminal convictions.
- Offers of employment made to external candidates are conditional upon providing proof of COVID-19 vaccination as per the organization's policy, or proof of valid medical exemption, prior to the offered effective date. If proof of vaccination or valid medical exemption is not provided, the offer of employment is rescinded.
