Job Title: Red Seal Licensed Mechanic

We are seeking a skilled Red Seal Licensed Mechanic to join our team at First Student Canada-Transco. As a key member of our maintenance team, you will be responsible for ensuring the safe and reliable operation of our school buses.

Responsibilities:
  • Diagnose and repair complex vehicle and equipment issues with minimal supervision.
  • Lead preventative maintenance and safety inspections to ensure compliance with industry standards.
  • Collaborate with other mechanics to complete repairs and maintenance tasks efficiently.
  • Develop and implement effective maintenance plans to minimize downtime and optimize vehicle performance.
  • Provide guidance and training to junior mechanics to enhance their skills and knowledge.
Requirements:
  • Valid Red Seal Mechanic license.
  • Advanced problem-solving and analytical skills.
  • Excellent communication and teamwork abilities.
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
  • Valid driver's license and a reliable vehicle for commuting.
