Job Title: Licensed Journeyman Truck Transport Mechanic

We are seeking a skilled and experienced Licensed Journeyman Truck Transport Mechanic to join our team in Winnipeg, MB. As a key member of our maintenance team, you will be responsible for performing routine maintenance and repairs on our fleet of garbage trucks.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Perform routine maintenance and repairs on garbage trucks, including electrical and hydraulic systems
  • Conduct preventative maintenance to ensure optimal vehicle performance and safety
  • Diagnose and repair minor engine issues
  • Work collaboratively with other team members to achieve maintenance goals
Requirements:
  • Red Seal Equivalent certification
  • 3-5 years of experience working with heavy-duty equipment
  • 2-3 years of experience in waste management or a related field (asset)
  • Ability to pass pre-employment tests
  • Caterpillar and Mack truck experience (asset)
  • Welding and hydraulic experience (asset)
  • Class 3 license (asset)
