We are seeking a compassionate and dedicated Personal Support Worker to join our team at ComForCare. As a Personal Support Worker, you will provide high-quality care and support to our clients in their homes, ensuring their comfort, safety, and well-being.

Key Responsibilities
  • Provide support as per the care plan to ensure client comfort and safety are met to the extent possible
  • Provide socialization, conversation, and emotional reassurance to the client
  • Encourage participation in meaningful activities that stimulate and promote well-being and continued independence
  • Meal prep, outings, medication reminders, games, and social interaction
Requirements
  • PSW certificate or equivalent experience
  • Be gentle, patient, and kind with an understanding and passion for the elderly
  • Prior experience with people who have Dementia
  • Experience working with people in their home
  • Ability to interact with others in a caring, tactful, and courteous manner
