About the Job
As a Car Yard Assistant, you'll play a vital role in maintaining the security and organization of our vehicle fleet. Your primary responsibilities will include inventorying and positioning vehicles in designated areas, ensuring their overall security and condition. You'll also be responsible for checking vehicles for damage and completing log entries for each shift.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Inventory and organize vehicles in all parking lots.
  • Ensure the overall security of the vehicles, lot, and equipment.
  • Check cars that are being moved into the overflow lots and service center for body damage and safety using a handheld device.
  • Complete vehicle logs each shift, showing vehicle identification number and plate number.
  • Move vehicles to different areas of the lot or facility as needed and directed by management.

Requirements:
To succeed in this role, you must possess a valid Ontario G or G2 driver's license with no more than 2 moving violations and/or at-fault accidents on your driving record in the past 3 years. Additionally, you must be authorized to work in Canada and not require work authorization sponsorship by our company for this position now or in the future. You should also be physically capable of lifting up to 30 lbs. daily and working outside in all-weather conditions.
