About the Role

We are seeking a skilled Disassembly Specialist to join our team at CARSTAR Canada Partnership, LP. As a key member of our disassembly team, you will play a critical role in ensuring that vehicles are thoroughly inspected and disassembled for additional damage.

Key Responsibilities
  • Conduct thorough inspections of vehicles to identify potential damage or issues
  • Disassemble vehicles according to established procedures and guidelines
  • Document and record all findings and recommendations for repairs
  • Collaborate with Estimators to ensure accurate estimates and repair plans
  • Assist in reassembling vehicles upon completion of repairs
Requirements and Qualifications
  • Prior experience in vehicle inspection or disassembly preferred
  • I-CAR or other industry training certification an asset
  • Strong understanding of hand tools and equipment used in disassembly
  • Ability to work independently with minimal supervision
  • Valid driver's license and insurable driving record
Physical Demands
  • Ability to lift up to 50 pounds and perform repetitive motions
  • Standing, sitting, and walking for extended periods
  • Exposure to varying temperatures and environmental conditions
Compensation Package

Our competitive salary range is $55,000 - $65,000 per year, depending on experience. We also offer a comprehensive benefits package, including medical, dental, and vision coverage, as well as a retirement savings plan.
