About the Role
Families and Children's Services Niagara is seeking an experienced Maintenance and Courier Specialist to join their team. This exciting opportunity offers a competitive salary, comprehensive benefits package, and the chance to make a meaningful impact in the community.

Key Responsibilities
The successful candidate will be responsible for performing routine maintenance duties, including electrical, plumbing, and carpentry repairs. They will also operate society vehicles throughout the region for various purposes, ensuring timely delivery of equipment and materials. Additional responsibilities include responding to after-hours property emergencies, setting up rooms and equipment for training and meetings, and accepting deliveries from outside suppliers.

Required Skills and Qualifications
To be considered for this role, applicants must have a Grade 12 Diploma and previous experience in property maintenance or construction. The ideal candidate will possess demonstrated competence with various power and hand tools, as well as working knowledge of CSA standards, building codes, and legislative requirements. Strong analytical and problem-solving skills are essential, along with excellent communication and interpersonal skills. The ability to read and interpret blueprints is also necessary.
