Job Description:

We are seeking a highly skilled Data Quality and Reporting Specialist to join our team at Family and Children's Services Niagara. This is an exciting opportunity for someone who is passionate about data analysis, quality assurance, and continuous improvement.

About the Role:

The successful candidate will be responsible for producing and coordinating organizational performance and service data to support and enhance the efficient functioning of the Agency. This includes providing stewardship in agency data quality, seeking to innovate the processing of data, business work flows, and systems, reconciling and distributing data reports upon request, and providing consultation and support to staff seeking to integrate continuous quality improvement or innovative strategies into processes and systems.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Data Quality and Analysis:
    • Develop and maintain high-quality data reporting tools and dashboards
    • Analyze data to identify trends and areas for improvement
    • Collaborate with stakeholders to develop and implement data-driven solutions
  • Continuous Quality Improvement:
    • Identify opportunities for process improvements and implement changes
    • Develop and maintain policies and procedures related to data quality and management
    • Provide training and support to staff on data quality and management best practices
  • Data Management:
    • Maintain accurate and up-to-date records and databases
    • Develop and implement data management protocols and procedures
    • Ensure compliance with relevant laws and regulations
  • Clerical and Administrative Support:
    • Provide administrative support to the Quality Assurance and Data Lead
    • Assist with the preparation, completion, and maintenance of reports, documents, and other materials
    • Perform other clerical and administrative tasks as required
  • Communication and Customer Service:
    • Provide excellent customer service to internal and external stakeholders
    • Communicate effectively with colleagues, managers, and clients
    • Respond to inquiries and requests in a timely and professional manner
  • Team Building:
    • Contribute to a positive and supportive team environment
    • Participate in team meetings and activities
    • Support the development and implementation of team goals and objectives

Requirements:

  • Bachelor's degree in Business Administration, Computer Science, or a related field
  • Minimum 2 years of experience in data quality and analysis, continuous quality improvement, or a related field
  • Excellent analytical, problem-solving, and communication skills
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite, particularly Excel and Access
  • Knowledge of statistical software packages such as SPSS
  • Valid G driver's license and access to a reliable motor vehicle with appropriate liability insurance

Salary:

$60,000 - $80,000 per year, depending on experience
