- Read blueprints, drawings, and specifications to determine layout of plumbing system, water supply network, and waste and drainage systems
- Instruct apprentices and supervise other workers
- Locate and mark positions for pipe connections, passage holes, and fixtures in walls and floors
- Cut opening in walls and floors to accommodate pipe and pipe fittings
- 5+ years of experience as a journeyman/woman plumber
- Plumber Trade Certification and Red Seal Certificate
- Working at heights training, CPR Certificate, and WHMIS Certificate
- Valid driver's license (Class 3 or D) and own vehicle
The estimated salary for this position is $60,000-$80,000 per year, depending on experience. Benefits include commission, gasoline paid, learning/training paid by employer, and transportation provided by employer.
