Carpentry Specialist

We are seeking a skilled Carpentry Specialist to join our team at EllisDon Forming Ltd. As a key member of our construction team, you will be responsible for ensuring the successful completion of carpentry projects.
Key Responsibilities- Read and interpret blueprints, drawings, and sketches to determine work requirements
- Measure, cut, shape, assemble, and join materials made of wood, wood substitutes, lightweight steel, and other materials
- Build foundations, install floor beams, lay subflooring, and erect walls and roof systems
- Fabricate and install windows, doors, stairs, mouldings, and hardware
- Schedule and coordinate work on sites
- Train and supervise apprentices
- Maintain, repair, and renovate residential and commercial structures
As a Carpentery Specialist, you will work in a fast-paced construction environment with varying weather conditions. You will be required to work at heights, lift heavy loads, and work in a combination of sitting, standing, and walking.
Requirements- 2 years of experience in carpentry or a related field
- Ability to work at heights and lift heavy loads
