Carpentry Specialist

We are seeking a skilled Carpenter to join our team at Assorted Building Solutions Inc. as a key member of our construction team.
Key Responsibilities- Read and interpret blueprints, drawings, and sketches to determine work requirements.
- Prepare layouts in conformance to building codes, using measuring tools.
- Measure, cut, shape, assemble, and join materials made of wood, wood substitutes, lightweight steel, and other materials.
- Build foundations, install floor beams, lay subflooring, and erect walls and roof systems.
- Fabricate and install windows, doors, stairs, mouldings, and hardware.
- Schedule and coordinate work on sites.
- Conduct site surveys and ensure building locations and levels are accurate.
- Train and instruct apprentices.
- Estimate costs and materials for projects.
The successful candidate will work in a fast-paced construction environment, with a focus on delivering high-quality results under tight deadlines.
Requirements- Secondary (high) school graduation certificate.
- 3 years to less than 5 years of experience in carpentry or a related field.
- Ability to work at heights, in confined spaces, and in noisy and dusty environments.
- Willingness to relocate for work assignments.
