Job Summary

We are looking for a Mechanical Engineer with experience in project development, mechanical systems, and lighting systems to join our team at Kuzco Lighting Inc. The successful candidate will be responsible for conducting research, designing power plants, machines, and equipment, and supervising the installation of mechanical systems.

Key Responsibilities
  • Conduct Research and Analysis
    • Conduct research into the feasibility, design, operation, and performance of mechanisms, components, and systems.
    • Analyze dynamics and vibrations of mechanical systems and structures.
  • Design and Development
    • Design power plants, machines, and equipment.
    • Develop maintenance standards, schedules, and programs.
  • Project Management
    • Plan and manage projects, and prepare material, cost, and timing estimates, reports, and design specifications for machinery and systems.
    • Supervise technicians, technologists, and other engineers, and review and approve designs, calculations, and cost estimates.
  • Business Development
    • Assess business opportunities and develop strategies.
    • Develop risk management plans.
Requirements
  • Education
    • Bachelor's degree in Mechanical Engineering or a related field.
  • Experience
    • 2 years to less than 3 years of experience in mechanical engineering, project development, and lighting systems.
  • Skills
    • Strong knowledge of mechanical systems, project development, and lighting systems.
    • Proficient in SolidWorks, AutoCAD, MS Windows, and MS Office.
    • Ability to work under pressure, meet tight deadlines, and maintain attention to detail.
