We're seeking a seasoned professional with proven experience in construction to join our team. As a Project Coordinator, you'll assist the Project Manager in overseeing and managing projects from start to finish, focusing on budgeting and scheduling.

Job Description:

Reporting to the Manager of Projects, or designate, the Project Coordinator plays a crucial role in project execution. This dynamic position involves working within the project management team to ensure overall project performance, including cost, schedule, safety, quality, planning, and communication.

We're looking for a detail-oriented Project Coordinator to assist in coordinating construction projects, ensuring all aspects run smoothly and efficiently.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Collaborate with project managers to develop project plans, goals, and budgets.
  • Assist Project Manager in Estimates.
  • Monitor project progress and address any issues that arise immediately.
  • Coordinate with subcontractors and vendors to ensure timely completion of tasks.
  • Utilize construction management software such as Bluebeam for project tracking.
  • Assist in blueprint reading, construction estimating, and reviewing schematics.
  • Manage project documentation and maintain accurate records.
  • Site administration activities, including tracking employees' hours, consumables, equipment, KPIs, etc.
  • Create project Purchase Order requisitions for approval, ensuring accuracy and timely submittal.
  • Communicate plans, actions, risks, issues, and updates with key stakeholders such as vendors, foremen, trades, superintendents, and subcontractors.
  • Field queries from external stakeholders and coordinate responses.
  • Assist in managing & processing project accounts receivables and accounts payables to stay on track of project budgets.
  • Complete job billing functions, including reviewing and reconciling all Time and Material data sheets, supplier invoices, subcontractor data sheets, and equipment rentals.
  • Collate and organize data for various reports; maintain accurate, updated information on project cost/budgets within applicable databases.
  • Liaise with project management, accounting, payroll, safety, in order to provide and receive required information.
  • Review monthly quantities for approval by owner for contract progress estimates and reconcile subcontractor & materials progress estimates.
  • Develop reports on project budgets, cost reports & revenue forecasts and communicate to stakeholders.
  • Develop and maintain a project schedule as required by the Project / Construction Manager.
Requirements:
  • Proven experience in project management within the construction industry.
  • Proficiency in construction management software like Bluebeam.
  • Strong understanding of blueprint reading and construction estimating.
  • Familiarity with Civil 3D for project design is a plus.
  • Excellent time management and organizational skills to meet project deadlines.
