Occupational Therapist Position in Physiotherapy Department

The Health Careers in Sask is seeking an Occupational Therapist to join our team in the Physiotherapy Department. As an Occupational Therapist, you will be responsible for providing direct care to clients and managing a clinical caseload. You will assess and treat clients referred to the occupational therapy service, and monitor the effectiveness of interventions. You will also work with other team members to plan and coordinate efforts.
Key Responsibilities:
- Provide direct care to clients and manage a clinical caseload
- Assess and treat clients referred to the occupational therapy service
- Monitor the effectiveness of interventions and make adjustments as needed
- Work with other team members to plan and coordinate efforts
Requirements:
- Bachelor of Occupational Therapy degree
- Valid Class 5 driver's license
- Basic Life Support Certificate (BLS)
- Ability to communicate effectively and work independently
Preferred Qualifications:
- Registered/eligible with the Saskatchewan Society of Occupational Therapists
- Registered/eligible with Canadian Association of Occupational Therapy (CAOT)
