Project Estimator

CIMA+ is seeking a skilled Project Estimator to join our team. As a key member of our project management team, you will be responsible for preparing cost estimates for materials, labor, and equipment for various industrial, transportation, and construction projects.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Analyze and interpret project plans and specifications
  • Evaluate production time and resources required for each project
  • Methodically analyze cost differences between multiple options
  • Draft the basis of estimate report
  • Communicate and liaise with stakeholders, consult with them, and prepare studies

Requirements:

  • Minimum ten (10) years' experience in estimating
  • Certified member of AEÉCQ
  • Certified member of Canadian Institute of Quantity Surveyors (CIQS)
  • Knowledge of estimating software (e.g., Quoterplan, PlanSwift, or On-Screen Takeoff)
  • Proficiency in spoken and written French
  • Good command in spoken and written English
  • Ability to read blueprints and manipulate 3D models
