About the Role

We are seeking a highly experienced Commercial Director to join our team at WSP Canada. As a key member of our Commercial & Risks Management team, you will be responsible for driving commercial growth and excellence across our sectors and regions.

Key Responsibilities
  • Develop and implement commercial strategies to drive growth and profitability
  • Lead bid reviews and support bid teams for major projects
  • Collaborate with project teams to negotiate contracts and manage commercial risks
  • Monitor and analyze commercial performance and provide insights to inform business decisions
  • Develop and maintain relationships with clients, partners, and stakeholders
  • Stay up-to-date with industry trends and best practices in commercial management
Requirements
  • P.Eng., Finance or Legal degree, or other relevant designation
  • 10+ years of experience in commercial management, preferably in the engineering and construction industry
  • Strong experience working in multi-disciplinary teams and managing commercial risks
  • Excellent communication and negotiation skills
  • Ability to analyze complex data and provide insights to inform business decisions
