About the Role:
The Ville de Laval is seeking highly motivated and customer-focused individuals to join our team as Service Agents. As a Service Agent, you will be the primary point of contact for citizens of Laval, providing assistance and support through various channels.
Key Responsibilities:
- Receive, analyze, and respond to citizen inquiries and requests in a timely and professional manner.
- Identify and resolve issues, concerns, and complaints in a fair and efficient manner.
- Provide accurate and up-to-date information to citizens, either in person, by phone, or in writing.
- Work collaboratively with other teams and departments to resolve complex issues and improve service delivery.
Requirements:
- Diploma of Secondary Education (DES) or equivalent.
- At least 2 years of relevant experience in a customer service or call center environment.
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills in French, with the ability to communicate effectively in English.
- Strong interpersonal and problem-solving skills, with the ability to work in a fast-paced environment.
What We Offer:
- A competitive hourly rate of $26.80.
- A hybrid work arrangement, with approximately 75% of work done remotely.
- A comprehensive training program, including a 4-week full-time training session.
