The Opportunity:

IMP Group is seeking a Cybersecurity Operations Analyst to join its IT department. Under the direction of the Director, Networks and Cybersecurity, the Cybersecurity Operations Analyst will be an integral part of a team responsible for information security.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Assess security posture, identify gaps, and enhance infrastructure to minimize the impact of security-related events to protect business operations.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams on daily operations and implementation projects.
  • Perform general cloud security activities in compliance with IMP Group's IT Security Policy.
  • Implement and monitor security baselines in a multi-tenant environment.
  • Develop and maintain trusted advisor relationships with client stakeholders.
  • Be on call for service outages.

Requirements:

  • Post-secondary education in Information Technology or comparable experience.
  • Two years of experience with knowledge of IT infrastructure and services in the following areas: Office 365 security administration, Identity management, Third-party integration experience.
  • Strong time management skills to manage multiple activities and changing priorities.
  • Knowledge and experience with NIST or other cybersecurity frameworks.
  • Demonstrate professionalism through communication and overall conduct.
  • Customer-focused – Patient, approachable, and able to adapt.
  • Continuous Improvement mindset.
  • Industry certifications in cloud security are considered an asset.
  • Eligibility for Canadian government security clearance.
