  • Job Title: Long Haul Truck Driver
  • Job Summary:At Clear Advantage Transportation Ltd, we are seeking a skilled and experienced Long Haul Truck Driver to join our team. The successful candidate will be responsible for safely operating a tractor-trailer unit to transport goods and materials across various routes. The ideal candidate will possess a valid Class 1/1F/A Licence, Air Brake (Z) Endorsement, and Transportation of Dangerous Goods (TDG) Certificate. Key Responsibilities:
    • Operate and drive straight or articulated trucks to transport goods and materials
    • Oversee condition of vehicle and inspect tires, lights, brakes, cold storage and other equipment
    • Perform brake adjustments, pre-trip, en route and post-trip inspection, and oversee all aspects of vehicle
    • Perform preventive maintenance, receive and relay information to central dispatch, and record cargo information, hours of service, distance travelled, and fuel consumption
    • Tarping and ensuring safety and security of cargo, transporting and handling dangerous goods
  • Qualifications:
    • Class 1/1F/A Licence (semi trailer trucks)
    • Air Brake (Z) Endorsement
    • Transportation of Dangerous Goods (TDG) Certificate
    • Experience in long-haul trucking operations, with a strong emphasis on safety and customer service
  • Working Conditions:
    • Physically demanding, with regular exposure to heavy loads, extreme temperatures, and variable weather conditions
    • Long hours spent driving, with regular overnight stays in various locations
