**Job Summary**

0050 United Rentals of Canada, Inc. is seeking a skilled Field Mechanic to join our team. As a Field Mechanic, you will be responsible for performing maintenance and repairs on complex equipment in a safe and professional manner.

**Key Responsibilities:**

  • Perform routine maintenance and repairs on heavy equipment, including mechanical, electrical, hydraulic, and diesel systems.
  • Travel to customer job sites for repair/maintenance of rental or customer-owned equipment.
  • Assist in the training of lower-level technicians as needed.
  • Maintain accurate and detailed records of work performed.
  • Assist with the delivery and pickup of equipment and parts.
  • Perform other duties as assigned.

**Requirements:**

  • High school diploma or equivalent.
  • Valid driver's license with a clean driving record.
  • 3-5 years of experience repairing and maintaining heavy equipment.
  • Advanced mechanical aptitude and working knowledge of tools.
  • Strong mechanical background knowledge of various engines.
  • Ability to frequently lift items up to 45 lbs.
